What are Search Engine Optimisation Basics?
In all cases we would recommend that a website has Google Analytics, this enables your Internet Consultant to see exactly what is happening with your website, making sure your visitors to your website are spending time on your site, making sure they are going to the place you want them to go, understanding where your visitors have come from, and where you need more help.
In addition to this, your pages need the correct META TAGs, these help the Search Engines understand your web pages, and therefore show the pages correctly on the Search Engines.
It may be useful to include GEO TAGs, and in all cases your images must have ALT TAGs.
We also recommend you create and upload and XML, which is a sitemap that the Search Engines can understand. In order to upload this, we would require you to upload a Verification Code for the 3 main Search Engines too (Google, Yahoo and Bing).
But first, you need us to do some keyword research to make sure all this applies to YOUR business.
